What is homechops?
Home chops LTD is an online on demand food ordering and delivery service provider. With our platform, you can order authentic, tasty and affordable home made food from a selection of our passionate chefs cooking in your area. Then we’ll organise a delivery to your home for a small fee.
How does it work?
Using your desktop, ios or android device, you can search for your local chefs menu by putting in your postcode in the search field or let the gps track your location and start browsing through a list of delicious menu. Once you find what you like, place the order and pay. When the chef receives your order, they’ll get to work preparing your food and then carefully package it. In no time, your food will arrive at your doorstep. Alternatively, you could order up to 24hrs in advance and have your food delivered when and where you want.
What type of chefs and cuisine are listed on Home chops?
You can order from any high-quality and diverse selection of chefs within a 3 mile radius of your area. These selections can range from your popular Nigerian party jollof rice to a well-regarded national dish like chicken korma or even breakfast classic like the full english. We provide the options but the choice is yours.
How does homechops select its chefs?
Anyone that has had prior experience or training as a chef can offer their services on our platform. However we filter through a host of applications to select chefs who are good and truly love what they do. These individuals are then vetted to ensure they have at least a level 2 certificate in food safety and hygiene and have registered their premises with their respective local authorities (councils). Our aim is to offer a wide variety of chefs so that you can choose the right cuisine and menu for any occasion.
How do i pay?
We currently only accept online payments because it creates a safer working environment for everyone. So you can pay online using your debit, credit card or paypal.
How can i check my order status?
We will send you notifications through the app or email regarding your order status. We will inform you from the time you place the order to the moment it is delivered to you.
What times can i order?
Ordering times vary from one chef to the other. You will find details of opening times on the page of your selected kitchen.
Is there a minimum spend?
Yes. all our chefs have set their minimum spend reasonably below retail price so we can afford to save you money every time without compromising on quality. the minimum spend for each kitchen is displayed on their individual pages.

What happens if I am having difficulties while trying to order a meal?
We strive on creating a seamless and memorable experience for all our users. However, we understand that sometimes things might go wrong. If or when this happens, you can contact our customer service team and report any issues at firstname.lastname@example.org
What can I do if I am not satisfied with my meal?
We encourage you to write to us at email@example.com regarding your dissatisfaction and we will try our best to rectify any issues you may have. Also please leave a review of your experience in order to aid improvement.
I have dietary restrictions. How do i know what is in the food?
Our chefs are advised to list all allergens of their dishes, but if you need any further details regarding the dish you can always contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or include a message to the chef in your order.
How do I redeem a promo code?
If you have a promo code, you can redeem this in the app or on the website.
If you’re using the app, go to your account and add the code into the ‘apply promo code’ field before you complete your order.
Can I collect my order?
Unfortunately, we don’t currently offer collection. Visit the website or the app to see what kitchens are available for delivery in your area.
What if i want to cancel my order?
After you’ve made your order, you will have 5-10 min window to cancel your order if you change your mind. as long as the chef has not yet started preparing your order, you're able to cancel your order in ‘my orders’ tab. otherwise get in touch with us at email@example.com as soon as possible.
What if my order is late?
Road traffic conditions are unpredictable which can often cause delays. Where we can, we will always try and inform you. If we are behind schedule and will not arrive within the estimated time of delivery, our team will work to get your order to you as quickly as possible.
What happens if I'm not around when my food arrives?
If after you’ve made your order and you think you won't be at the delivery address, please inform us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please check your emails during the delivery time for any updates.
In the event that we are unable to reach you to deliver your food, depending on the schedule of the courier they could wait an extra 5-10 minutes for your response. However, you’ll still be charged for your order. In order to prevent this from happening, it’s always a good idea to double-check your contact and address details prior to place your order.
